The new ASCENT 40 AVABAG is designed for ski hikes or demanding crossings over several days and completes our Avabag range for ski touring. As with smaller models, the emphasis is also put here on reduction to the essentials: security, which makes the ASCENT 40 Avabag extremely light and effective. 

With 40 liters and three interior pockets, ASCENT 40 AVABAG offers enough storage space for ski hikes and crossings over several days. The circular zip on the front allows quick access to all the content of the main compartment. Emergency equipment is stored in a separate safety compartment to stay accessible at any time.

The rope for demanding ski hikes is quickly and easily attached to this airbag bag oriented towards ascent. Additional outdoor carrier loops allow you to quickly fix an ISOMATT. In steep terrain, skis can be easily fixed and secure diagonally on the avalanche bag, thanks to the D-Skifix system. It is of course also equipped with a fixing system for the ice ax and the sticks as well as a removable net for the helmet.  The aluminum loop, the safety leg laps, the torso strap with alert whistle and the emergency card are part of the standard equipment. 

And because in addition to the safety and space available, port comfort plays an important role in ski crossings over several days: the 3D foam dorsal system even softer and reinforced straps ensure stability and comfort . Thanks to light but abrasion -resistant fabrics, ASCENT 40 AVABAG is quite resistant for damaged terrain and numerous hikes.

Avabag system
The lightest airbag system weighs barely 690 grams* and is incredibly compact. Another peculiarity of the Avabag system the possibility of training to trigger: you can train in trigger again and again without the cartridge being screwed to be well prepared in an emergency.
