Splitboard Weston Eclipse 2022
The Eclipse splitboard, with a multi-radial Camber-Rocker-centered multi-radial-based profile, a wide nose and a narrow half-moon heel, effortlessly floats in the powder, is agile in tight trees, is quite rigid to keep its edge despite the snap and mud, and is fast enough to keep you at the top all day. The size of the board is slightly narrower than that of our backwoods to fit the smaller feet and is surmounted by our Rugged Topsheet with castor oil for more durability and snow resistance, d A high-end sintered base for unparalleled speed and our poplar / bamboo core for more pop and stability. It's really a quiver in one board for those who prefer the trees, powder and open cuvettes.
For the final touch of this splitboard, we use active lock ultrakoram karakoram to help create a solids feel as possible and limit the clicking between sections. In addition, we designed a camber under the feet in order to optimize the pulling of the skin in the climbs and the carre holding in the descents. A slight shift in the forward turning bracket to create a heavier rear also makes it easy to facilitate kick turns on the skin track.
The board is decorated with a work of art from the Brooklyn Bell Athlete / Artist of Bellingham, WA. Part of the revenue in this board will be used to finance Aiare scholarships on avalanches.
Designed in Colorado, manufactured at GP87.
