The Backwoods splitboard, with its mainly radial camber-rocker-centered multi-radial profile centered on the powder, with a wide nose and a narrow heel, floats effortlessly in the powder, is agile in tight trees, is quite rigid to hold the edge through Chattering and Crud, and is fast enough to keep you at the top all day. To top it off, our Rugged TopSheet made from castor oil adds durability and snow resistance, a high-end sintered base adds unparalleled speed, and our bamboo and poplar wooden core adds POPs and stability. It's really a quiver in one board for those who prefer the trees, powder and open cuvettes.

For the final touch of this splitboard, we use active lock ultrakoram karakoram to help create a solids feel as possible and limit the clicking between sections. In addition, we designed a camber under the feet in order to optimize the pulling of the skin in the climbs and the carre holding in the descents. A slight shift in the forward touring bracket to create a heavier rear also easily facilitates kick turns in the skin track.
